Branding & Identity

Brands people recognise. Identities people remember.

We build brand systems, not just logos and colour palettes. That means the positioning underneath the identity, and the rules that keep it holding together once your team starts using it without you.

Our Focus

Recognition happens before anyone reads a word.

A strong identity does the explaining for you. People work out who you are, and whether you’re for them, long before they read your copy.

01

Clear positioning

We help uncover what makes your brand different, then shape an identity around that thinking.

02

Consistency across every touchpoint

From websites to presentations and social content, we create systems that keep everything aligned and recognisable.

03

Distinct without trying too hard

The strongest brands look inevitable, like they couldn’t have been anything else. That takes restraint more than invention.

Building brands with
clarity and character.

Strategy, visual system, and the guidance to roll it out. We design for the day your team applies it without us in the room.

The people we work with in their own words.

  • Untold Heroes are some of the most enjoyable people to work with. Every piece of work they do is ahead of time and of the highest quality. And they are extremely dedicated to any task you put in front of them. We originally asked them to design the UI/UX of our new fashion marketplace and once we saw the amazing results, we knew we wanted them for every future design project!

  • Highly recommended. I have worked with the Untold Heroes team for many years. They have consistently produced high-quality websites on time and on-budget. But not just that – they also give great advice on how to get the best result. I hope to continue working with them for years to come!

Philip Hall , Managing Partner, Thorndon Partners

  • First class team operating at a very high level. I have always been impressed by the delivery of Warren and team, including their attention to detail and willingness to always go the extra mile for their clients. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

  • I have worked with Untold Heroes for a number of years now and can honestly say that they are brilliant. As the co-owner of a small marketing and design agency, we need partners that we can trust and rely on, and who can be flexible and on hand when we need them, and Untold Heroes – especially Warren – are second to none. They are so knowledgeable, helpful, friendly, professional – everything you need. Can't recommend highly enough!

    Joanna Blackman , Co-Founder, Black & Gray

  • We've been using Untold Heroes for web hosting and website management at Mallett for a while now, and they've been excellent throughout. Warren and the team are responsive, reliable, and really easy to deal with — exactly what you want from a technical partner when your focus is on running your business, not worrying about your website. The service just works.

Simon Dickson , Design Director, Mallett

The basics, covered.

Often not. A logo you’re happy with can usually stay; what’s missing is everything around it. Type, colour, layout rules, and the guidance that stops five people applying it five different ways. If the logo genuinely is the problem, we’ll say so, but we won’t redraw it just to have something to show you.

Usually four to eight weeks from first workshop to final guidelines. The positioning work at the start takes as long as it takes, and that’s the part shaping everything after it. If you’re working to a launch date, tell us early and we’ll build backwards from it.

A logo set in every format you’ll actually use, type and colour rules, a guidelines document your team can work from, and the working files. The guidelines matter more than people expect; they’re what keeps the brand intact once we’re not in the room.

Yes. It’s your brand.

We design it for your company and it’s no use to anyone else, so on full payment it’s yours outright, working files included. You won’t need our permission to use your own logo, and you won’t have to ask us for a file you’ve already paid for.

What stays with us is the workshop, not the brand: our templates and process, and the routes we explored that you didn’t pick.

Then we go again. Every brand project includes two rounds of revisions, and if the first presentation misses, we’d rather hear it plainly than watch you talk yourself into something. Being wrong early is cheap. Being wrong at rollout isn’t.

Yes, if that is the best way forward. A refresh keeps the recognition you’ve already built while fixing what’s actually broken. We’ll tell you honestly which one yours needs.

No. Clearing a mark legally is specialist work and we’d be doing you a disservice pretending otherwise. We’ll flag obvious conflicts we spot during design, and we can point you to people who do it properly.

Fewer people than you’d think, and the same ones throughout. One person who can actually sign off, plus whoever knows the business best. Brand work stalls when it’s designed by committee, and you can usually see it in the result.

Begin Your Mission.

Tell us a bit about your goals, and we’ll help you launch something extraordinary.
