No. We build design systems, which are different: reusable components made for your brand, rather than someone else’s layout with your logo dropped in.
Yes, and you should. You’ll see wireframes before visual design and clickable prototypes before development. Nothing gets built off a static image and a hopeful conversation.
We scope by template or module rather than page count, because twenty pages sharing three layouts is a much smaller job than five pages needing five. We’ll map that with you at the start so the number means something.
We’ll work inside it. Extending a system you’ve already invested in is usually smarter than replacing it, and we’ll flag where it’s genuinely constraining you rather than quietly working around it.
The designs for your site are yours.
Where it needs more thought is design systems. If we build a UI language (components, patterns, the rules that hold an interface together) that’s licensed for the product we built it for. Using it as the foundation for a whole family of products is a different brief, and worth raising early so we can build it that way from the start.
Ask us at scoping if that’s where you’re heading. It changes how we’d design it, not just what it costs.
Yes. We hand over developer-ready files, and we’ll stay available during the build to answer questions. Designs handed over cold tend to drift.
More at the start than the end. Expect a kick-off, a couple of review sessions, and prompt feedback when we ask for it. The projects that go slowly are almost always the ones where feedback takes three weeks to arrive.
Whatever suits you. Some teams take the files and run, some keep us on for build and support.
