We were commissioned to illustrate a long-form article on smart cities and how they change an ordinary day. We drew the city from above. From street level you see buildings; from the air you see the connections between them, which is what the article is actually about. The illustrations are spread across the full length of the piece, so there’s something pulling the reader forward at every scroll.
